TRM basketball plays summer games Friday

Although only one team showed up to the T.R. Miller Lady Tigers summer basketball play-date Friday in Brewton, games still were played.
The Lady Tigers Red team lost to Hillcrest 20-16. Hillcrest led 13-8 after the first half (18-minute running clock). In the second half, T.R. Miller outscored the Lady Jags 8-7, but lost by four.
In the second game of the day, T.R. Miller’s B-team boys rallied to defeat a team from Atmore 47-45. T.R. Miller trailed 25-14 after the first half before outscoring Atmore 33-20 in the second half.
In the second game of the day against Hillcrest, T.R. Miller’s White team lost 28-21. T.R. Miller led 10-8 after the first half but was outscored 20-11 in the second half to lose by seven.
No other scores or game information from any other games Friday were known as of press time.
