This cooler weather has brought out the treasure seekers. In fact, Monday night, scores of hunters were spotted in Jennings Park as photographers gathered for the brewton: the magazine hosted its first event – a photowalk.

And the hunt is still on for the $250 cash prize.

Each weekday a clue to the prize’s location will be released.

Clue for Wed., July 2: Over the bridge, it shows you where I am.

Clue for Thurs., July 3: Up and down, all around, a good time—and me—can be found.

Clue for Fri., July 4: Let’s celebrate!

Clue for Mon., July 7: He was a good man.

Clue for Tues., July 8: The word is out. We’re some of the best.

Before you start, here are a few rules:

• The prize – or a ziplock bag containing a certificate to claim the prize – will be hidden on public property somewhere in Brewton, East Brewton or the surrounding areas.

• There is no digging or dismantling of objects required to find the claim certificate.

• Be respectful of each other and public  property.

• If you locate the certificate, bring it to The Brewton Standard office located on St. Nicholas Avenue to claim the prize.
