NYF teams compete in Excel

The Neal Youth Football teams and cheerleaders kicked off their season Saturday in Excel.
The NYF Freshman team (ages 4-6) lost their first game to NWE 12-0 before taking down Baker 14-0.
The Sophomores (ages 7-8) defeated NWE 14-0 to start their season and Baker 7-0 to go 2-0 on the day.
The Juniors (ages 9-10) went 1-1 as they lost to NWE 6-0, but took down Baker 7-0.
The Seniors (ages 11-12) lost to NWE 8-0 and tied Baker 0-0.
All four teams will be back in action Monday, Sept. 1 at W.S. Neal Stadium. The Labor Dash Bash will start at 10 a.m.
Tickets are $ 3 for anyone 12 or older children and 11 and under is free.
