TRM B-team football improves to 2-0 after defeating Hillcrest (updated with stats)

T.R. Miller’s B-team football team improved to 2-0 this season as they traveled to Hillcrest-Evergreen Tuesday and came back with a 26-6 win.
In the win Tuesday on defense, Demarquis McMillan had six tackles and two fumble recoveries while Joshua Winton had five tackles and Terence Hall had four tackles. Jo Jo Booker finished with two tackles.
On offense, Michael Campbell had five carries for 44 yards and had two scores while Hunter Brittain finished with four carries for 27 yards and two touchdowns.
Kristian Smith added four carries and 32 yards.
Caleb Winton went 2-for-3 passing with 56 yards. Booker had both catches.
The Tigers offense ran only 16 offensive plays in the 20-point win.
T.R. Miller will be back in action Monday, Sept. 8, at home against W.S. Neal. The Tigers of T.R. Miller will be back at home the following week, Sept. 15, when they host Opp.
T.R. Miller will travel to W.S. Neal on Sept. 22 before hosting Hillcrest on Sept. 29.
The Tigers will play their final game of the season on Monday, Oct. 6, when they travel to Excel High School to take on the Excel Panthers.
All games are scheduled to start at 6:30 p.m.
