This is homecoming week for W.S. Neal students and alumni, and on Monday, members of the court were announced.

This year’s homecoming queen is Tykeria Nolan, the daughter of Tammie Nolan and Kevin Littles. Other attendants are as follows:

• senior: Breanna Woodcock, the daughter of Darlene and John Woodcock;

• junior: Kaylyn Barley, the daughter of Sonya Johnson and Mark Seaney;

• sophomore: Jordan Grantham, the daughter of James and Cathy Grantham; and,

• freshman: Jashira Dees, the daughter of Lillie Jones and Johnny Dees III.

On Friday, the school will host a slew of events, including a 1:15 p.m. parade.

Those with floats are asked to line up between 8 a.m. and noon.

At 9 a.m., the alumni room will open for socialization before the 10 a.m. alumni pep rally in the O.C. Weaver auditorium.

School dismissal times on Friday are as follows:

• elementary: 11: 25 a.m.;

• middle: 11:30 a.m.; and,

• high: 11:45 a.m.

Gates will open that evening at 5:30 at the stadium. Crowning of the WSN homecoming queen and the presentation of her court will be held at 6:25 p.m.

Kickoff against Calhoun is at 7 p.m.
