Hunter education class coming Oct. 11

A hunter education field day class will be held from 8 a.m. until 5 p.m., Saturday, Oct. 11, at the Poarch Creek Sports Complex on 444 Lynn McGhee Drive, Atmore. Students must first take the Internet /CD course and bring the printed report to the field day. Go to www.outdooralabama.com/hunting/education/
The class is free to the public.
Anyone born on or after Aug. 1, 1977 is required to pass a hunter education class prior to purchasing a hunting license.
