T.R. Miller High School has announced its 2014 homecoming court and festivities schedule.
This year’s queen is senior Chelsea Blunt, the daughter of Jennifer and Charlie Blunt.
Senior attendants are Brittany Warren, the daughter of Stephanie and Robbie Warren, and Madalyn Weaver, the daughter of Miriam and James Weaver. 
Junior attendants are Haley Reiss and Me’khia Williams.
Reiss is the daughter of Rita Thomas and the late Greg Reiss, while Williams is the daughter of LaShawnda Watson and Michael Williams. 
Sophomore attendants are Payton Baxter, the daughter of Angel and Chris Baxter, and Grace Ruzic, is the daughter of Molly and Will Ruzic. 
Freshman attendants are Steely Ruzic, and Taniya Smith. Ruzic is also the daughter of Molly and Will Ruzic, while Smith is the daughter of Tiffany Barton and Carlos Smith.
This year’s homecoming will be Fri., Oct. 24, against Excel. Kickoff is at 7 p.m.; however, before the night’s game a slew of activities are planned for students and alumni.
This year’s honored classes are from 1944, 1949, 1954, 1959, 1964, 1969, 1974, 1979, 1984, 1989, 1994, 1999 and 2004. An alumni reception will be held at 10:30 a.m. in the foyer of the new gym. The pep rally will be held 1 p.m., and the parade, 3 p.m. School will dismiss for the day at 2 p.m.
The parade route will begin on Evergreen Avenue behind First Baptist Church and concludes with a pep rally in front of the courthouse.
