Warhawks get first conference win of season

The Jefferson Davis Community College Warhawk basketball team picked up their first conference win of the season Tuesday as they downed Enterprise 75-70 in Brewton.
Both teams scored 35 points in the first half. In the second half, the Warhawks edged out Enterprise by five points, 40-35, to get the five-point win.
The win improved the Warhawks to 3-7 overall and to 1-1 in conference play.
No other stats or game information was known as of press time.
The Warhawks were slated to host Faulkner State Wednesday at 7 p.m. in another conference game.
JDCC will hit the road next week for two conference games (at Chatt. Valley on Tuesday and at Wallace-Selma on Thursday) before returning home on Mon., Jan. 26, to host Alabama Southern. Game time is set for 7 p.m. in Brewton.
