WSN Lady Eagles finish 2-2 in area play after defeating Satsuma Tuesday

W.S. Neal’s Lady Eagles finished as the No. 2 seed in the area Tuesday night as they finished area play with a 2-2 record after taking down Satsuma 40-36. WSN improved to 7-14 overall with the win.
The Lady Eagles trailed Satsuma 16-11 after one quarter and 27-21 at the half. Down 33-26 heading into the fourth quarter after being outscored 6-5 in the third, WSN ended the game on a 14-3 run to seal the win by four points.
KeKe Floyd turned in 22 points and had 11 rebounds to earn a double-double in the win. Floyd added seven steals for the Lady Eagles.
MeMe Lawson chipped in 10 points while Jashira Dees had four, Marisha Fraser had two and Taylor Burns had two.
Fraser tallied 16 rebounds in the win while Alexis Morrison had five. Dees had one block in the win.
