Police are searching for a Flomaton man wanted in conjunction with an assault at a local apartment complex Friday morning.

Flomaton Police Chief Bryan Davis said the incident occurred at Flomaton Woods apartments when Jamie Gafford, 40, was allegedly involved in an assault.

Gafford has local connections and may be in the Century, Fla., or Flomaton area, and is wanted on charges of burglary and assault, Davis said.

Anyone with any information as to Gafford’s whereabouts is asked to contact the FPD or one’s local law enforcement agency.
