JDCC basketball gets conference win at Enterprise

The Jefferson Davis Community College Warhawk basketball team ended their six-game conference losing streak Monday night at Enterprise as they claimed a 57-55 win. The win improved the Warhawks of JDCC to 5-14 overall and to 2-7 in conference play.
Down 33-29 to Enterprise after one half of play, JDCC outscored ESCC 28-22 in the second half to claim the two-point win.
Keenan Williams led JDCC in the win as he was one of three players to score in double figures. JDCC also had two players to finish with a double-double in the conference win.
Williams led JDCC with 20 points, six assists, two steals and one block. Brandon Davis finished with a double-double as he added 16 points and 10 rebounds. Davis led JDCC with four offensive boards in the win and one block.
Adrian Rich added a double-double in the win as he has 12 points for the Warhawks. Rich also led JDCC with four offensive rebounds, eight defensive, and 12 total. Rich added on block in the win.
Fletcher Forte chipped in five points while Ty’Qwan Bonner added four.
Forte led with two steals. Truman Whitaker finished with one block in the win.
