WSN baseball gets fourth straight win Friday in Atmore

After starting their season 0-3, the W.S. Neal baseball team picked up their fourth straight win of the season Friday in Atmore as they downed the Blue Devils 4-1. The win moved WSN to 4-3 overall this season.
WSN led Atmore 1-0 after three innings and 2-1 after four innings. WSN added two more runs in the sixth inning to claim the win by three runs.
Dalton Shell earned the win on the mound for WSN as he went four innings and allowed five hits, one earned run, walked three and struck out eight.
Jared Cooper went the final three innings and allowed one hit, no runs, no walks and struck out seven.
At the plate for WSN, Malcolm Hawthorne had a hit while Miles Powell went 2-for-3. Derrick Barton added a hit and one RBI while Dakota Graves was 1-for-3. Cooper had one RBI in the win.
