TRM JV softball starts 2-0 with wins at MCHS Monday

In a makeup game from last Thursday, T.R. Miller’s JV softball team traveled to Monroe County High School Monday and came away with a sweep to start their season with a 2-0 record.
The Lady Tigers of TRM took game one 13-0 and game two 12-1.
In game one, Myra Reiss pitched a no-hitter and struck out two in the win.
At the plate, Gabbi Solomon was 1-for-2 with one RBI and Anna Grace White was 1-for-2 with one RBI as well. Reiss went 1-for-1 with a triple and three RBIs while Mary Madison Brown was 1-for-1 with two RBIs.
In game two, Kaleigh Folsom and White pitched a no hitter in two innings of work. Folsom pitched one inning and struck out two while White pitched one inning and struck out two.
Steely Ruzic was 1-for-2 while Mallori Floyd was 2-for-2 with two RBIs.
Brown was 2-for-2 with three RBIs, Solomon was 2-for-2 with three RBIs and Morgan Longmire was 2-for-2 with one RBI.
Reiss was 1-for-1 with a triple and two RBIs.
