JDCC softball goes 3-3 in Montgomery

Playing in Montgomery Friday and Saturday at the ACCC Conference Crossover, the Jefferson Davis Community College Lady Warhawks softball team went 3-3 in the two-day event.
The 3-3 record for JDCC makes their record 19-17 overall.
The Lady Warhawks went 1-2 on Friday and 2-1 on Saturday.
On Friday, JDCC opened play with a 2-1 win over Shelton State before falling to Calhoun 5-4 and Southern Union 9-1 later in the day.
On Saturday, JDCC defeated Snead 4-0 and Gadsden 5-3 before losing to Marion Military 6-4.
No other stats or game information from the games were known as of press time.
JDCC will be back in action Thursday at home as they will host Chattahoochee Valley in a conference doubleheader. Game time is set for 1 and 3 p.m.
JDCC will also host Wallace-Dothan on Saturday at 1 and 3 p.m.
