TRM JV softball remains undefeated

T.R. Miller’s JV softball team moved to 6-0 Friday as they swept Flomaton. TRM won game one 12-1 and game two 11-7.
In game one, Steely Ruzic pitched the Lady Tigers to the win as she struck out four.
Myra Reiss had three hits while Mary Madison Brown, Mallori Floyd and Anna Grace White all had two RBIs each.
TRM held Flomaton to one run in the first inning while plating three of their own in the top of the first, two more in the second, three in the fourth, one in the fifth and three in the sixth inning.
In game two, Reiss pitched in the five-inning win and struck out one.
Gabbi Solomon and Floyd had two hits each. Morgan Longmire and Brown had three RBIs each.
TRM and Flomaton were tied 4-all after one inning and 5-all after two innings. From there, TRM outscored Flomaton 6-2 to get the win. TRM’s four runs in the third inning propelled them to the win.
No other stats or game information from the games were known as of press time.
