WSN baseball improves to 7-5 overall after win over PCA Monday

The W.S. Neal varsity Eagles baseball team picked up an 11-2 win over Pensacola Christian Monday in Pensacola to move to 7-5 overall this season.
WSN led PCA 4-1 after one inning and 4-2 after two innings before plating seven unanswered runs over the next four innings to get the win by nine runs.
Lane Chavers and Alex O’Keane teamed up on the mound together to pitch the Eagles of East Brewton to the win.
Chavers went four innings and was the pitcher of record as he allowed five hits, two earned runs, walked three, struck out four and hit one batter.
O’Keane went the final three innings and allowed one hit, no runs, walked two, struck out four and hit one batter.
At the plate, O’Keane went 2-for-6 with a homerun and three RBIs.
Malcolm Hawthorne added two hits while Jacobey Hawthorne had one. Miles Powell went 2-for-2 with two RBIs and Derrick Barton was 1-for-3.
Dalton Shell went a perfect 4-for-4 with one RBI while Dakota Graves was 1-for-2.
Jared Cooper and Rob Jones both had one hit each. Powell and Jones had two RBIs each.
