TRM JV softball cruises to two wins over WSN; TRM’s White pitches no-hitter

T.R. Miller’s JV softball team walloped W.S. Neal Monday in Brewton in a doubleheader as the Lady Tigers outscored the Lady Eagles 28-0 in the two games. Also in the two games, TRM out hit WSN 21-2.
In game one, TRM won 13-0 and claimed a 15-0 win in game two.
With the wins, TRM moved to 8-0 this season while WSN fell to 2-2.
No stats were known for WSN.

Game one: TRM JV 13, WSN JV 0
In game one Monday, TRM’s JV Lady Tigers used a big third and fourth inning to down WSN 13-0.
TRM led WSN 2-0 after one inning before scoring six in the third inning and five more in the fourth inning to propel them to the 13-0 win.
Kaleigh Folsom picked up the pitching win for the Lady Tigers as she went all five innings and allowed two hits, no runs, walked none and struck out one.
At the plate for TRM, Steely Ruzic, Anna Grace White, Myra Reiss, Morgan Longmire and Janazia Nettles all had one hit each while Mallori Floyd and Mary Madison Brown had two hits each.
Ruzic, Floyd and Brown all had doubles while Reiss had a homerun. White, Reiss and Brown had two RBIs each while Floyd had three and Longmire had one.
WSN made five errors in the loss while TRM made none.

Game two: TRM JV 15, WSN JV 0
TRM’s Anna Grace White pitched a no-hitter to lead TRM to a 15-0 win over WSN in game two.
White went all four innings and allowed no runs, no hits, walked one and struck out three in the win.
At the plate, Ruzic had a double and Reiss added another homerun for TRM as they pounded out 12 hits.
Ruzic, Reiss and Gabbi Solomon all had two hits each while White, Longmire and Folsom had one each. Floyd went a perfect 3-for-3 in the win.
Ruzic, Floyd and Brown all had two RBIs each while White and Longmire had one each.
Reiss and Folsom had three RBIs each in the win.
