TRM track teams claim another first place finish Friday

In a home track meet Friday for the T.R. Miller Tigers, both the girls and boys teams came away with another first place ranking.
In the girls meet, TRM competed against nine other teams and posted 329 points to Opp’s 107.5.
Escambia County High School came in third place with 41.5 points while Washington County took fourth with 38.5 points. W.S. Neal took fifth place with 28.5 points followed by Red Level’s 17, Straughn’s 12, Satsuma’s five and Florala’s three points.
In the boys meet, TRM edged out second place Jeff Davis 178-124. Washington County came in third place with 95 points followed by Escambia County’s 65, Opp’s 56, Satsuma’s 47, WSN’s 45, Red Level’s 23, Straughn’s 23, and Florala’s seven points.

• TRM’s Makayla Harrison, high jump
• TRM’s Peyton Baxter, pole vault
• TRM’s Shayn Bradley, long jump
• TRM’s Makayla Harrison, triple jump
• TRM’s Serena Smith, shot put
