Emerald Coast Golf Tour coming to CCB

The Country Club of Brewton will be the host site for the Emerald Coast Golf Tour Tues., April 14 through Fri., April 17.
Here is a schedule of events for the tour:
Tues., April 14:
Practice round for all players at the Country Club of Brewton. Junior clinic for kids at 4 p.m. at the driving range. There will be a kickoff party on Tuesday night at the club to meet the professionals.

Wed., April 15:
This will be the Pro Am day for amateurs and professionals. Lunch will be served at 11:30 a.m. and a shotgun start will follow at 12:30 p.m.
This will also be the first round of play for the professionals. The Pro Am awards party will be in the clubhouse after play.

Thurs., April 16:
This will be the second round of play for the professionals at the Country Club of Brewton. A player’s party will be held later at the club.

Fri., April 17:
This will be the final round of play for the professionals. The prize presentation will be in the clubhouse after play with the winners.
The format of the tour will be two best balls of the four with amateurs receiving 80 percent of their handicap.
An entry fee of $100 will be administered for the Pro Am event. This will include a round of golf with the professional and a kickoff party and lunch and awards party at the club. The professional entry fee is $675 for ECGT members and $855 for non-members. The tournament will pay a minimum of 33-36 percent of the field.
