JDCC softball gets Thursday sweep while baseball gets swept

Both the Jefferson Davis Community College Lady Warhawks softball team and Warhawks baseball team were in action Thursday.
The Lady Warhawks hosted LBW while the baseball team travelled to Chattahoochee Valley.
In softball action, JDCC swept LBW 5-1 and 10-5 to move to 25-21 overall this season and to 9-5 in conference play.
JDCC will travel to Bishop State Saturday.
In baseball action, the Warhawks were blanked in both games by CVCC. JDCC lost game one 6-0 and game two by a score of 8-0.
The losses dropped the Warhawks to 15-17 overall and to 10-8 in conference play.
Both teams will be back in action against each other Saturday in Brewton at noon.
No other game stats or information from the softball or baseball game was known as of press time.
