Auburn leads Babe Ruth

Six games into the 2015 Brewton Babe Ruth season, the standings show Auburn at the top with a perfect 6-0 record followed by Bama at 5-1.
LSU is currently in third place with a 1-5 record while Ole Miss is at the bottom with an 0-6 record.
This week’s games have Auburn and Bama paired up with each other while Ole Miss and LSU will square off.
In games on Fri., May 15, Alabama downed Ole Miss 7-2 while Auburn won over LSU 17-0.
On Mon., May 18, Auburn defeated Ole Miss 8-1 while LSU picked up their first win of the season and handed Bama their first loss of the season with a 6-3 win.
In games last Tuesday, Alabama regrouped after their first loss with a 15-0 win over LSU. Auburn moved to 5-0 with a 14-3 win over Ole Miss.
In Thursday’s games, Auburn defeated Ole Miss 4-1 and Alabama won over LSU 10-0.
Games that were set to be played this week on Monday and Tuesday were cancelled due to rain in the area.

Friday: Alabama 7, Ole Miss 2
Leading Alabama at the plate in their 7-2 win over Ole Miss was Jacobey Hawthorne as he had a double and Andrew Etheridge had a single.
Weston Riddle pitched in the win for Bama.
For Ole Miss at the plate, O’Neil White had a single while Daniel Reed had a double. Joseph Blackburn added a single. Stone Martin pithed for Ole Miss.

Friday: Auburn 17, LSU 0
Auburn benefited from 11 walks to down LSU 17-0.
For Auburn at the plate, Russell Smith had a singles and P.J. Lovelace had a single and homerun. Tucker Davenport added a single for Auburn while Jennings Hobbs had two singles. Christian Watson also had a single in the win.
For LSU, Paxton Scurlock had a single along with Drew Williamson. Trentez Johnson finished with a single.
No pitching stats for either teams was known as of press time.

Monday: LSU 6, Alabama 3
LSU picked up their first win of the season Monday as they doubled up Alabama 6-3. For LSU, Kristian Taylor pitched in the win while Matt Hutchins pitched for Bama.
No other stats were known as of press time.

Monday: Auburn 8, Ole Miss 1
The Brewton Babe Ruth Auburn Tigers moved to 4-0 this season as they downed Ole Miss 8-1 Monday in East Brewton. Ole Miss fell to 0-4 this season.
Auburn led Ole Miss 1-0 after one inning before adding four more runs in the fourth, two in the fifth and one in the sixth inning. Ole Miss’ lone run came in the fourth inning.
Micah Flores pitched Auburn to the win as he went six innings on the mound and allowed seven hits, one earned run, walked none and struck out three.
At the plate for Auburn, Stokes Jennings and P.J. Lovelace had a double each to lead in the win.
Logan Bush added one hit and one RBI while Lovelace had two hits and one RBI.
Tucker Davenport finished with a hit and one RBI for Auburn in the win. Brandon Smith had an RBI for the Tigers.
For the Rebels of Ole Miss, Landon Sims had one hit and O’Neil White added two hits. Daniel Reed finished with a hit and one RBI while Jay Jackson had two hits. Cobi Godwin finished with a hit in the loss for Ole Miss. One of White’s hits for Ole Miss was a double.
No pitching stats for Ole Miss were known as of press time.

Tuesday: Alabama 15, LSU 0
After falling to LSU on Monday, Alabama got revenge on the Tigers Tuesday as they claimed a 15-0 win. Alabama scored six runs in the first inning to aid in the win.
Weston Riddle pitched in the win.
No other stats from the game were known as of press time.

Tuesday: Auburn 14, Ole Miss 3
Auburn picked up another double-digit win as they downed the Rebels 14-3 to stay undefeated this season.
Logan Bush pitched for Auburn and Blackburn pitched for Ole Miss.
For Auburn, Stokes Jennings had a double and a single while Russell Smith added a double.
Lovelace added two doubles and a single while Jennings Hobbs had a single. Brandon Smith finished with a double while Jeremy Gafford had a single.
For Ole Miss, Reed (no first name provided) had a single.

Thursday: Auburn 4, Ole Miss 1
Auburn finished off a sweep of Ole Miss Thursday as they downed the Rebels 4-1. Jennings pitched for Auburn and Landon Sims for Ole Miss.
For Auburn, Bush, Lovelace and Davenport all had singles while Jennings had a double.
For Ole Miss, White had a single and Blackburn had a double.

Thursday: Alabama 10, LSU 0
Alabama scored five runs in the first inning to blank LSU 10-0 Thursday.
Hawthorne was the winning pitcher for Alabama while Jason Konsler pitched in the loss for LSU.
