The Flomaton man missing since May 3 was found dead Friday morning.

Details and circumstances surrounding his death remain unclear; however, family is reporting on social media that John Oswalt has been located.

Oswalt, 35, was last seen on May 3, and his vehicle was found abandoned May 5 in McDavid, Fla., on Pine Barren Road.

Attempts to reach law enforcement were unsuccessful Friday afternoon. The Brewton Standard will update this story as more information becomes available.
