Babe Ruth: Auburn leads league with perfect 9-0 record

The Brewton Babe Ruth Auburn Tigers continued their recent dominance over league teams as they moved to 9-0 this season with a sweep of Alabama in the league’s most recent games.
Auburn’s sweep of Alabama dropped the Crimson Tide to 5-4 this season.
In games between Ole Miss and LSU, Ole Miss went 2-1 while LSU went 1-2.
Ole Miss saw their overall record move to 2-7 while LSU also moved to 2-7.
League games for the week saw Auburn defeat Alabama 7-3, 10-0 and 8-5.
Ole Miss defeated LSU 6-3 and 7-4 before LSU picked up an 11-4 win.
Games this week pits LSU and Auburn against each other while Bama tangles with Ole Miss.

Auburn 7, Alabama 3
The Auburn Tigers used a four-run fifth inning to put away Alabama 7-3.
For Auburn, Stokes Jennings, Russell Smith, and Micah Flores all scored twice while PJ Lovelace added the other run.
Jacobey Hawthorne scored twice for Alabama to lead in the loss.

Auburn shutout Alabama 10-0 in the team’s second meeting of the week. Jennings and Jeremy Gafford led Auburn with three runs scored in the win. Auburn used a five-run third inning to get the win.
