Auburn still leads Brewton Babe Ruth, but suffers first loss of season

The Brewton Babe Ruth Auburn Tigers suffered its first loss of the season Thursday in East Brewton, but still leads the league with an 11-1 record.
LSU stunned Auburn 6-5 to improve to 3-9 this season.
In the most recent three games for the league, Alabama went 3-0 to move to 8-4 this season as they swept Ole Miss. Ole Miss fell to 2-10.
Auburn went 2-1 last week while LSU went 1-2.
In last week’s games, Auburn defeated LSU 7-4 and 6-4 before falling 6-5 on Thursday.
Alabama defeated Ole Miss 11-9, 10-5 and 9-3.

Auburn 7, LSU 4
The Auburn Tigers handed the LSU Tigers a 7-4 loss last week in East Brewton.
For Auburn, Russell Smith had a single along with PJ Lovelace and Logan Bush.
For Ole Miss, Kristian Taylor added a single along with Trentez Johnson.

Tied 9-9 after seven innings, Alabama scored two in the top of the ninth inning to down Ole Miss 11-9.
Sawyer Lewis and Landon Qualls scored one run each in the ninth inning to aid Alabama in the win.
