Brewton Babe Ruth 15s to play at state tournament in Opp starting Saturday

Brewton’s 15U Babe Ruth all-stars will play in the state tournament in Opp in the coming days.
Brewton will play Tallassee at 4:30 p.m. Saturday, Sylacauga at 9 a.m. on Sunday, and Opp at 11:30 a.m. on Monday. Brewton will be in the gold pool.
The black pool will be made up of Mims Park, South Huntsville, Wetumpka and Monroe County.
Brewton will be the home team against Tallassee and Opp.
Two teams will come out of each pool and play on Tuesday.
The No. 1 seed from the black pool will play the No. 2 seed from the gold pool at 9 a.m. followed by the No. 1 seed from the gold pool playing the No. 2 seed from the black pool at 11:30 a.m.
The No. 1 seeds will be the home team.
The championship game will be held at 2 p.m. In the championship game, the team that wins the coin flip will be the home team.
