A Flomaton man is dead following a Tuesday traffic crash in Brewton.

Jimmy Wayne Cash, 56, was traveling south on U.S. Hwy. 31 when the 1991 Ford Ranger he was traveling rear-ended a 2003 Chevrolet 2500 pickup truck driven by Steven Smith of Graceville, Fla.

Cash was transported to D.W. McMillan Hospital, where he later died from his injuries.

Smith was not injured during the accident.

The crash remains under investigation by the Brewton Police Department.
