TRM JV vb sweeps in Thomasville tourney

JV volleyball traveled to Thomasville this past Saturday to compete in a five team tournament. Miller defeated Sweet Water, Millry, and Sweet Water again before defeating Excel in the championship game.
TRM volleyball coach Terri Lynne Peacock was proud of her team’s play. “It was a great day of volleyball,” Peacock said. “The girls showed up ready to play. Their hard work and support of one another got them to the championship game. Today’s victory was a team effort.”
TRM JV and varsity will be back in action Tues., Sept. 15., at the Brewton Middle School gymnasium. Varsity will face Hillcrest at 4:30 p.m.
JV will face Jay at 5:30 p.m.
Varsity will face Jay at 6:30 p.m.
