Lifetime’s Double Divas are heading to Brewton on Tuesday, bringing their unique bra fit technique as part of an upcoming Women’s Business Council of Rural Alabama event.
“This is going to be one of those events that people will talk about for a while,” said Susan Rhodes, WBCRA director. “We have wanted to do something for a while that would help benefit the Yancey Jernigan Cancer Foundation, and we are so excited to say that we were able to organize this luncheon.”
The TV show “Double Divas” follows Molly Hopkins and Cynthia Decker “displaying their natural talent assisting women with any and all intimate apparel needs” at their renowned Atlanta boutique, LiviRae Lingerie.
The women and their staff will offer their bra fitting services to anyone with an appointment on Oct. 20 from 10 a.m. until 6 p.m. Cost is $50, which will go toward the purchase of the new bra.
“And this isn’t just a bra like you can buy anywhere,” Rhodes said. “This bra will last for years.”
Fittings will take approximately 30 minutes, Rhodes said.
A meet-and-greet networking event will begin at 11 a.m., followed by a noon luncheon. Tickets for the luncheon are $25 and available in Brewton at Jus Do and English Realty and at Just Because in Atmore
Businesses wishing to sponsor a table at the day’s luncheon may contact Rhodes at 251.867.5600. There is no cost to sponsor a table.
“Basically, we’re asking businesses to pick a theme and decorate a table,” she said.
Door prizes, including a makeover by Pace’s Posh Color Bar, will be given away.
