XC team earns high marks

T.R. Miller’s boys’ and girls’ varsity cross country teams came in second and third respectively in a Thursday meet in Bratt, Fla.

The boys trailed by Pensacola Christian Academy by 13 points, while the girls’ team followed Tate High School and PCA respectively.

For the boys, times included:

• Travis Carlson: 18:38;

• Micah Flores: 19:11;

• Andrew Pollitte: 19:34;

• Tanner McDaniel: 19:56;

• Tailand Mitchell: 19:50;

• Noah Morris: 20:19;

• Tucker McDaniel: 20:26;

• Rider Jernigan: 20:49; and,

• Joe Luttrell: 24:10.

For the girls, times included:

• Tarah Townson: 22:44;

• Olivia Blackmon: 23:10;

• Carmen Knowles: 23:12;

• Hannah Douglas: 23:14;

• Sarah Byrd: 24:05;

• Madison Lum: 24:11;

• Ora Nelson: 24:43;

• Samantha Morris: 25:10;

• Kaleigh Thomspon: 25:23; and,

• Breann Huff: 25:31.

Also, during the T.R. Miller Challenge on Oct. 3, the time for Olivia Blackmon was inadvertently left out. She ran a 23:28.22.
