Jefferson Davis Community College softball needs your help in raising funds for their upcoming season. The program has created a gofundme page to reach the widest audience possible.

“We are using the GoFundMe Account as an easy way for anyone to donate to our softball program,” said JDCC softball coach Misti Nims.

“With the site’s popularity, we thought it would be a good tool for us to help achieve our goals on and off the field.

“I hope that the community will be able to assist us. Their support, monetary or not, will inspire the team to not only excel on the softball field and classroom, but also in life.”

According to the team’s fundraising page the money will be used for softball equipment and field upgrades.

“We also want to help cushion any upcoming budget cuts to help offset cost for travel and official expenses,” Nims said.
