JDCC starts season 0-2

The Jefferson Davis Community College basketball team has started their season 0-2.

The Warhawks opened their season on the road against Marion Military on Nov. 7, losing the game 50-82. For the game, the Warhawks shot 28 percent from the floor.  Marion Military shot 68 percent. JDCC was 1-8 from the three-point line and had 18 turnovers for the game.

JDCC opened at home on Tuesday against Pensacola Christian College, losing a close one, 75-80.  The Warhawks shot 47 percent for the game, going 6-9 behind the three-point line. The team committed 14 turnovers.

JDCC will be in action this Thurs., at home against Stillman. Game time is at 7:30.
