Central Alabama Veterans Health Care System (CAVHCS) will hold a quarterly veterans town hall meeting Thursday, December 3, 2015, 1 p.m. in Monroeville, Ala. at the Alabama Southern Community College, 2800 South Alabama Avenue, Science Building, Room 104,  Monroeville, Alabama 36460. Veterans and their family members are encouraged to attend.

Interim Director Traci Solt will update veterans on progress to improve access, the Veterans Choice Program and new CAVHCS locations.

CAVHCS staff members from social work service, nursing and customer service will also be available to answer questions and address individual veterans’ concerns.

The meeting is open to the public. Congressional stakeholders, Veteran Service Organizations, Non-Governmental Organizations and other community partners are encouraged to attend. Members of the press are also invited.

Veteran town hall meetings are held quarterly as part of the ongoing commitment by the Department of Veterans Affairs to improve communication with, and hear directly from, veterans in an effort to rebuild trust.
