The T.R. Miller B-team improved their record to 5-0 after picking up wins against Straughn and Clarke County last week.

 

TRM 30, Straughn 24

Throughout the first three quarters Miller struggled with missed shots and defense. TRM would put together their best quarter in the fourth. Miller’s Stokes Jennings made back-to-back threes to give Miller the lead. Teammate Darius Williams would follow with a three of his own. Jennings and Williams scored 15 of Miller’s 17 fourth quarter points.

Leading Miller were Williams with 12 points and Jennings with eight points.

 

TRM  39, Clarke County 33

Miller would outscore Clarke County 22-13 at the half..

In the fourth quarter, Clarke County would hit a couple of three’s to cut the Tiger lead to six points, but the Tigers would hold on for the win.

Leading TRM were Darius Williams with 13 points and Michael Campbell with six points.
