It seems Escambia County is a “Roll Tide” county – or at least when you compare the number of specialty car tags issued to Alabama and Auburn fans.

Alabama Department of Revenue figures show there are there are 103,321 UA license plates within the state, followed by Auburn University with 68,067 tags.

When using the state’s detailed sales numbers for the 2015 fiscal year, it showed 414 more Tide tags than Tiger tags were issued to Escambia County residents.
