The T.R. Miller Lady Tigers defeated Abbeville Monday 51-49.

Miller trailed 23-27 at halftime.

In the third quarter, Miller was able to hold Abbeville’s offense scoreless, outscoring the Lady Yellowjackets 8-0.

In the fourth Miller held on to take the win, despite being outscored by Abbeville 22-20.

Leading Miller was Mekhia Williams with 28 points and Kyla Bell with 12 points.

Jasmine Griffin led Abbeville with 21 points.

Miller will next play in the regional semifinals in Dothan at 9 a.m. at the Dothan Civic Center.

Miller will play the winner of Daleville versus Excel, which is scheduled today at 5:30 p.m.
