The Solon Dixon Forestry Center held its first Dixon Legend 5K, 10K and half marathon Saturday. Scores of runners enjoyed the sites in the forest and participated in the event. In the half-marathon division, winners were Allen Davis, 1.46; Jeffery Keiper, 1:53; Allen Ward, 1:56; Eden Keene, 1:57; and Josh Burgins, 1:58. In the 10K division, winners were Jay Todia, 48;26; Jake Eishen, 50;40; Buddy Wilkes, 55:47; Lisa Locklier, 56:09 and Melinda Martino, 59:14. In the 5K dvision, winners were: Joseph Hainds, 28:13; Rob Foreman, 28:15; Alex Ward, 28:35; Beth Ann Spurlin, 31:28; and Terry Love, 32:18.
