Fairhope had an explosive second inning scoring six runs. The Pirates scored another run in the third inning.

In the fourth inning, catcher Griffin Gaunt launched a triple to left field to score another run for Fairhope.

In the fifth inning the Tigers made a push for a big inning when its two lead off hitters got on base with no outs. A line drive right at the Fairhope shortstop and a force out at second base stunted the Tigers big inning. Miller would leave the bases loaded.

Miller had a total of five hits in the game.

Joshua Winton got the loss on the mound. Winton pitched three innings, allowing seven runs on seven hits, striking out two.

After Saturday the Tigers are 17-5.
