The countdown is on for the 30th annual Castleberry Strawberry Festival.

Set for Saturday beginning at 9 a.m., the festival will be held in downtown Castleberry. Arts and crafts booths will dot the streets, and there will be plenty of food and fresh strawberries for sale.

The full day of festival entertainment will include Carl Tillery, The Backwoods Boys, Perfect Image, Wagon Wheel, 5:50 Express, Six Shooters and Tony Kyles.

There will be several food vendors, kids’ activities, a street magician, free entertainment and lots of fun, organizers said Monday.

Few spaces remain for vendors and are available by calling 251.966.2422.

Sponsors for the vent include The Bank of Evergreen, Alabama Refrigeration, Weyerhaeuser, Evergreen Medical Center and the Poarch Band of Creek Indians.
