Padgett joins Brewton law firm

The law firm of Otts, Moore, Coale, Godwin, Stearns and Darby has announced the addition of Attorney Melissa Padgett to the firm.

Brewton and a graduate from Auburn University with a degree in agricultural business and economics with a minor in political science.

She earned her law degree from Thomas Goode Jones School of Law in 2014 and was admitted to the Alabama State Bar in 2014. She is a Deputy Attorney General for the State of Alabama representing the Department of Human Resources.

Padgett is now taking new clients in the area of divorce, child custody and support, juvenile dependency, personal injury, wills and estates, real estate and real property disputes.

Otts, Moore, Coale, Godwin, Stearns and Darby have office locations in Brewton at 401 Evergreen Avenue, and in Atmore at 104 North Main Street.
