Charles M. “Chuck” Simon will be the guest speaker at this month’s Escambia County Historical Society meeting.

Simon, Covington County Auburn extension agent, will present a program on Pineywoods Cattle, the free ranging cattle of the longleaf pine forest.

The meeting will be held on Tues., May 24, at 3 p.m., in the McMillan Museum, located in the Fine Arts Center on the Brewton campus of JDCC.

The “Journey Proud” Series on Alabama Public Television will present a program featuring Simon this Thursday at 9 p.m.
