The push is on to grow the T.R. Miller cross country team.

The current team has 30 runners on the roster but cross country coach Rob Atkinson said the team is open for growth.

“(We’re ) always looking for younger runners, boys expecially,” Atkinson said.

This past season at the state competition in Oakville, the girls finished third overall, while the boys earned a sixth place finish out of 11 teams competing.

Returning senior Allie Nelson led the girls with a second place overall finish, while top runner for the boys, returning senior Travis Carlson led the boys team.
