DWM announces personnel changes

D.W. McMillan Memorial Hospital announced Thursday changes to its organization that include new positions for several current employees. Stacy Hines, Mike Myrick and Becky Adams will be assuming new roles for the rural hospital located in Brewton.

Hines has been selected as the Director of Business Office and Clinic Services.  In her new role, she will be responsible for the hospital billing office as well as oversight for both Flomaton Medical Center and Castleberry Medical Clinic. She graduated from Auburn University in 2005 and has worked in the healthcare industry since her graduation. Prior to joining D.W. McMillan she worked with a medical consulting firm for five years. She began with D.W. McMillan in 2010 and has served as the director of physician services.

Myrick has been selected as the medical clinic manager for both Flomaton Medical Center and Castleberry Medical Clinic.  Both clinics are part of the D.W. McMillan continuum of care in Escambia and Conecuh counties. His primary office will be located in the Flomaton Medical Center.  Myrick earned his registered nursing degree from Jefferson Davis Community College in 2001, and upon graduation, he began employment with D.W. McMillan. He has worked in various nursing services roles in several departments with increasing supervisory capacity with each role. He has been the surgery nurse manager since 2009.

Adams has been selected as the registration supervisor for the hospital.

She graduated from Auburn University in 2000 and started in the healthcare industry in 2001 at Evergreen Medical Center and then worked at Gulf Coast Cancer Center.  She began working with D.W. McMillan in 2012 and has been a billing specialist since 2014.
