The Community Action Agency of South Alabama will sponsor a Senior and Veterans Awareness Day for senior citizens and veterans on Thurs., July 14, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the East Brewton Sail Site.

The event is open to senior citizens at the age of 60 and older, and veterans of any age.

During the event, seniors and veterans will gain helpful information and knowledge of services such as energy counseling, nutrition, transportation, health and safety issues and VA benefits.

East Brewton Sail Site is located at 702 Williamson Street in East Brewton. Opportunities for door prizes will be available. RSVP to event by contacting 251.867.4759.
