Godwin named hb&k shareholder

Hartmann, Blackmon & Kilgore P.C. (hb&k), with offices in Brewton, Foley and Fairhope, recently welcomed Rachel Godwin, CPA, CGMA, MAcc as a shareholder in the firm.

Godwin, who has been with hb&k since 2001, currently serves as Director of Audit and Accounting Services in the firm. She has practiced public accounting for more than 15 years, specializing on accounting and audit engagements for businesses, governments, municipalities and non-profit Godwin is a resident of Jay, Fla. and maintains dual licensing in Alabama and Florida. She attended the University of West Florida, earning both Bachelor of Science in business administration-accounting Magna Cum Laude and master of accountancy degrees. She is a member of the American Institute of CPAs, the Alabama Society of CPAs and the Florida Institute of CPAs, and is also active in the Jay Area Chamber of Commerce.
