The Country Club of Brewton will host a one-day World’s Largest Golf Outing event on Mon., Aug. 1, beginning at 7:30 a.m.

CCOB general manager Ryan Andrews said the World’s Largest Golf Outing is one of the big golf tournaments done each year across the entire Billy Casper Golf Company.

“We are doing it for Fisher House this year and are hoping to duplicate our company wide fundraising total of just over $1 million,” Andrews said. “As a participant in this great day of fundraising, we’re calling on anyone and everyone to sign up for the tournament and help us raise money for such a great cause. I have been a part of this tournament since it started a few years ago and have seen it grow into a huge and fun day to raise money for an awesome cause, our veterans.”

Cost to participate for singles is $55; twosomes are $110; and foursome groups are $220. Price includes golf, cart, lunch, gift bag, prizes and a charitable donation to Fisher House.

Participants will play for a chance to win a trip for four to the Nike Campus. The National Highest Fundraising Prize will be a trip for four to Whistling Straits Golf Course.

Fisher House is a proud supporter of helping military families.
