Hazel White Moulder

Pearson, Ga.

On Oct. 5, 2016, our Lord and Savior called to Heaven the light of our family, Hazel White Moulder.

The viewing will be held at Relihan Funeral Home in Pearson, Ga. on Thurs., Oct. 13, from 9 a.m. to noon and will be followed by a graveside service at Utah Cemetery at 1 p.m. with Relihan Funeral Home of Pearson directing.

She was born in Atkinson Co., Ga., March 12, 1927 to John G. and Allie Mae White. She married George Donald Moulder and after the birth of son Donnie and daughter Linda, they moved to Fernandina Beach, Fla., and lived there until 1957 when they moved to Brewton. She moved to Wenatchee, Wash., in 2006 after the death of her husband.

She was a woman of deep faith who enjoyed reading her bible throughout her life and attending Damascus Assembly of God Church. She was an avid Atlanta Braves fan and loved watching any sport on TV.

She loved fishing and being outdoors working with her flowers and plants. She was an excellent cook and was especially known for her delicious cakes. She was an inspiration to so many people throughout her lifetime.

Her family meant everything to her and she was always there to help when needed. She was a natural caregiver and a selfless woman.

She is survived by her daughter, Linda (Alvin) Bell of Wenatchee, Wash.; a daughter-in-law, Kathy Moulder of Brewton; five grandchildren, Robin (Dee) Powell of Wenatchee, Wash., Jimmy (Valerie) Moulder, Jeffery (Darlene) Moulder, and Janene (Jarrod) Jones, all of Brewton and Jason (Mandi) Bell of Wenatchee, Wash.; seven great-grandchildren, Cord Moulder, Jackson Powell, Alexandra Moulder, Grace Bell, Katie Bell, Gaige Moulder and Cooper Bell; a brother, Lehi White of Pearson; and two sisters, Loretta Green of St. Marys, Ga. and Betty Clement of Southwest Ranches, Fla., and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, George; her son, Donnie Moulder; two brothers, Johnny and Glenn and three sisters, Lucille, Melda and Sarah.

Nola Adell Blair Raines

Repton

Nola Adell Blair Raines, 93, of Repton, passed away Mon., Oct. 3, 2016, at an Evergreen Nursing Home.

Funeral services were held Thurs., Oct. 6, at 11 a.m. at Oak Grove Holiness Church with Bro. Raymond Wiggins and Bro. Jeff Harris officiating and Craver’s Funeral Home directing.

Interment followed in Oak Grove Cemetery.

Pallbearers were Ronnie Fountain, Wesley Fountain, Sam Fountain, William Battersby, Buddy Blackmon and Chase Blackmon.

She was born in Escambia County, and had been a resident of Repton for the past 70 years.  She was a homemaker and was the former minister of McGougin Chapel and attended Oak Grove Holiness Church prior to her death.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Charlie Gaston Raines; and a son, Aubrey Gaston Raines.

She is survived by a son, Thomas Franklin “Tom” Raines of Repton; four daughters, Sylvia Evans, Jeanell (Ronnie) Fountain, Karen (Nick) Kennel, all of Repton, and Deborah (Buddy) Blackmon of Range; one sister, Ruthie Cooper of Castleberry; nine grandchildren, Wesley Fountain, Crandall Blackmon, Brandy Blackmon, Sam (Emily) Fountain, Chase Blackmon, Russ Raines, Shantell Raines, Katie Fountain and Aubrey Raines; and six great-grandchildren.

Nancy Kay Myers

Brewton

Nancy Kay Myers, 72, of Brewton, passed away Thurs., Oct. 6, 2016, in the Brewton hospital.

A memorial service was held on Sun., Oct. 9, at 3 p.m. at Brewton’s First United Methodist Church with the Rev. Tony McCullough officiating.

She was born in El Reno, Okla., and had been a resident of Brewton for the past four years.  She was a homemaker and was a member of Brewton’s First United Methodist Church.

She is survived by two sons, Tim (Janet) Myers of O’Fallon, Mo., and Brett (Nicole) Myers of Jefferson City, Mo.; one daughter, Robyn (Shannon) Hydar of Brewton; one brother, Ron Hron of Lee Summit, Mo.; two sisters, Linda Bevard of Atlanta, Ga., and Cheryl Lewis of Jacksonville, Ill.; three grandchildren, Andrew Myers, Katie Myers and Gaige Sullivan; and her beloved pet dog, Dottie.

Memphis Lane Riddle

Brewton

Memphis Lane Riddle, 21, of Evans Road in Brewton, passed away Wed., Oct. 5, 2016, in a Pensacola, Fla. hospital.

Funeral services were held Sat., Oct. 8, at 11 a.m. at Williams Memorial Chapel Funeral Home with the Rev. Jeremy Yoder officiating.

Interment followed in Beulah Cemetery in Brewton with Williams Memorial Chapel Funeral Home directing.

He was a native of Atmore and a life long resident of Brewton. He attended W.S. Neal High School.

He is survived by his father, Shane Riddle of Brewton; mother, Tammy Byrd Riddle of Brewton; maternal grandparents, Tom and Diane Byrd of Brewton; paternal grandmother, Judy Gandy Riddle of Brewton; and sister, Bailey Riddle of Brewton.

He is preceded in death by his grandfather, Memphis Bo Riddle.

Mae Jean Parker Wright

East Brewton

Mae Jean Parker Wright, 79, of Williamson Street in East Brewton, passed away Tues., Sept. 27, 2016, at her residence after a brief illness.

Funeral services were held Fri., Sept. 30, at 2 p.m. at Williams Memorial Chapel Funeral Home with the Rev. Doug Greer officiating.

Interment followed in Catawba Springs Cemetery in Brewton with Williams Memorial Chapel Funeral Home of Brewton directing.

She was a native and life long resident of Brewton and East Brewton. She was of the Baptist faith, a 1954 graduate of W.S. Neal High School and a retired housekeeper from West Gate Village Nursing Home where she served 13 years.

She is survived by two sons, Eddie (Vickie) Wright of Brewton, and Jim (Candace) Wright of East Brewton; a daughter, Martha Jean Cooper of East Brewton; five brothers, Samuel Parker of Virginia, David Parker of Damascus, Dennis Ray Parker and S.J. Parker, both of Dixie, and Wayne Parker of Bradley; a sister, Betty Lou Douglas; eight grandsons; and 10 great-grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Samuel Lamar and Plesia Douglas Parker; daughter, Shirley Ann Wright; two granddaughters,  Tracey Michelle McCall and Shannon Nicole McCall;  great-grandson,  Terry Bryant McCall; and four brothers, Gene Parker, Lewis Parker, W.L. Parker and Bob Parker.

Darrell Lee Fuqua

Brewton

Darrell Lee Fuqua, 69, of Brewton, passed away on Sat., Oct. 8, 2016, at his home.

Funeral services were held Tues., Oct. 11, at 11 a.m. at Craver’s Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Ronald Hall and the Rev. Johnny Fuqua officiating and Craver’s Funeral Home directing.

Interment followed in Bethel Cemetery in Brewton, with military honors.

Pallbearers were Bobby Wilson, Chris Wilson, Kyle Cooper, Michael Sawyer, Robert Bauer and Johnny B. Fuqua.

He was born in Memphis, Texas, and was a lifetime resident of the Brewton community where he was a graduate of the 1965 class of W.S. Neal High School.  He was a veteran of the United States Air Force as a Sgt. having earned the National Defense Service Medal, Air Force Outstanding Unit Award and the Good Conduct Award.

During his working years, he worked as a shipping supervisor at Georgia Pacific.  He was an avid Alabama, Texas Longhorn and Texas A&M fan.  He was of the Baptist faith and was preceded in death by his parents, Todd and Eleanor Ridings Fuqua.

He is survived by his sons, Cody Fuqua of Brewton, and Denver Missel of North Dakota; a daughter, Shanna (Keith) Skiba of Brewton; mother of his children, Teresa Fuqua of Brewton; brothers, Johnny Fuqua of Gadsden, and Michael Fuqua of the Bethel community; sisters, Sandra Fuqua of Montgomery, Karen Watson of Skellytown, Texas, and Tammie Ralph of Borger, Texas; and grandchildren, Nataleigh Fuqua, Coley Fuqua, GraceLynn Skiba, Damien Missel and Donovon Missel.
