Brewton will host its annual holiday kickoff on Thursday from 4-7 p.m.

Sponsored by the Greater Brewton Area Chamber of Commerce, the event is designed to boost the local economy and kickoff the holiday shopping season.

Judy Crane, chamber executive director, said a number of local retailers will offer discounts and other incentives during the one-night event and includes:

• Herrington’s The Florist;

• L House Photography;

• Bonehead Boots;

• Woodmen of the World (on the Boardwalk);

• The Purple Paisley Boutique;

• Farmers Home Furniture;

• United Bank (in the former Modest Closet location);

• Jus Do;

• NDI;

• Weavers;

• Cash Cow; and,

• Elite Veterinary Supply.

Also, live music will be featured at the Choo Choo Market where Pig Daddy’s BBQ will be selling concessions.
