Help spread a little Christmas spirit to those in West Gate Village by adopting an angel from First Exchange or Regions banks.

Lisa Anthony, West Gate’s activities director, said this is the second year the community has helped to provide Christmas to the site’s residents.

“We have a huge party with Santa and Mrs. Claus, and it is truly heart-warming to see the joy that comes across our residents’ faces when they get their presents.”

Anthony said the “angel trees” located at the banks are filled with the information for senior.

“This is a from-your-heart gift,” Anthony said of the donation. “We can’t thank everyone in person. We don’t know who gives, but know that is one that is greatly appreciated. Some cards, say male or female, and there are those that are for residents who come in for therapy services who may be here for Christmas. It is a small way to bring a little holiday joy into their lives.

“We’d like to thank Comfort Care Hospice for all their involvement,” she said. “The support from this community is so appreciated and because of it that our residents are able to have a great Christmas.”
