the championship. Named tournament most valuable player was junior, Steely Ruzic who averaged nine points, four rebounds, three assists and two steals each game. Aleria Smith, Janazsia Nettles, Morgan Longmire and Kyla Bell-Barton were named to the all-tournament team for the Lady Tigers.
TRM 63, Pike County 18
Miller proved too much for Pike County in the opening round.
Steely Ruzic led the Lady Tigers with 13 points, two assists, four rebounds and four steals. Morgan Longmire had 11 points, four assists and two steals. Kyla Bell-Barton had eight points, seven rebounds, three assists and two steals. Aleria Smith had eight points, 10 rebounds and six steals.
TRM 46, Georgiana 26
Aleria Smith led Miller with 11 points, 14 rebounds, three assists and two steals. Kyla Bell-Barton had 10 points, six rebounds and five steals. Steely Ruzic had 10 points, four rebounds and two assists. Morgan Longmire had four points and five steals.
TRM 34, Carroll 30
It was a close championship game, but it was the Miller he held on for the win.
T. McLeod led Carroll with a game-high 13 points.
Aleria Smith led the Lady Tigers with 10 points, eight rebounds and two assists. Kyla Bell-Barton had eight points, eight rebounds and two steals. Janazsia Nettles had six points, four rebounds and two assists.

TRM junior, Shiv Patel scrambles for a loose ball versus Florala. Patel was named to the boys’ all-tournament team for the Tigers.
In boys’ action the Tigers went 1-2 against Straughn, Kinston and Florala. The Tigers lost to Straughn, 53-41, and Kinston, 50-33. Joshua Jolly led Miller with nine points against Straughn. Shiv Patel led the Tigers against Kinston with 10 points.
The team picked up its lone win agains Florala, 54-37. Michael Smith had 12 points, six steals, four rebounds and four assists. Jolly and Stokes Jennings had 10 points. Patel had nine points and three assists.
Patel was named to the all-tournament team for the Tigers.
