Wallace earns master’s degree from Norwood

Keri Wallace is the proud graduate of Northwood University in Midland, Mich., where she earned master’s degree in business administration with honors on Dec. 17, 2016.

Wallace is the daughter of Deacon Gary Lee and Pamela F. Plummer of Brewton. She is the daughter-in-law of Maurice McClain and Gisele Ross and the goddaughter of Clifford and Elvera Dillard, all of Detroit.

She completed her undergraduate work at Oakland University and attended high school at the prestigious Class Technical High School in Detroit.

Wallace is a campus operations associate at Wayne County Community College District in Detroit. Over the last year, her primary role has been the coordination of the dual enrollment office at the Western campus. There, she assists local area high school students who are dual-enrolled in college courses with advising courses, registration and transfer options into four-year institutions.

She also assists with instructor assignments,  class scheduling and other various administrative duties. Previously, she spent six years in the Division of Institutional Effectiveness and Research, where she held the position of quality assurance data administrator.

Wallace has served on school and advisory boards for special education is a member of Delta Sigma Theta sorority. She also participates in various community service activities and is an active member of Winner Circle Church in Mt. Clemons, Mich.

Wallace is married to a supportive husband, Maurice Wallace, and the couple has two teenage children, Maurice Jr. and Keris.

In her spare time, she enjoys traveling and spending quality time with her family and friends.

A family trip celebration, including her parents, is planned for mid spring 2017.
